12 Most Amazing Abandoned Cars

Have you ever experienced the feeling of driving your car home after a long day of work, parking it, taking the keys out of the ignition, and then walking away never to return to it? If not, you’re just like most people. Not everyone thinks the same way, though. Some people seem to abandon their vehicles wherever they like, and to make matters worse, they often abandon truly beautiful and unique cars when they’re doing it! Every single car you’re about to see has been used, abused, and discarded, but they all have a story to tell.

  6. My grandparents had a 1913 Detroit Electric car that they restored and showed all across the Southeast. Theirs made the one in this video look like a lemon. I have very fond memories of driving to church in it on Sunday mornings and traveling with them to car shows. It was willed to me but unfortunately they ended up selling it to a guy in Texas with the promise that he wouldn't change it from it's OEM operation or appearance.

  19. Funny the electric car 1910. Then the oil company get involved and over 100 years later.. we get about 100 miles at 60mph.. sounds to me like electric technology has been suppressed for that 100 years so the oil companies can profit ..

  20. Good heavens, how could they ever abandoned those great vintage Formula 1 cars? Since Detroit Electric cars are great, perhaps they need solar roof panels and modern reliable Tesla motors and batteries speeding the car up to 70 mph as an option.

  21. "The McLaren-Mercedes was really one of a kind, what about the McLaren without its logo?!" 🗨🤩🐚♨️🎭🎦🌵⛾㊙️🐉

  22. they are real F-1 cars …look at the rims on the "elf John Player Special"

    1. I agree, Chazz, I think they are real as well. Heartbreaking to see them like this but then again, how old is this photo? Maybe they have been rescued…

    2. chazz Lucas – And look at the "elf" racing support trailer in the background. There are two JPS cars on the double decker trailer. If you look closely you will see the nose of another.

    3. Non! ce sont pas de vraies F1, ces voitures sont des reproductions fabriquées dans le cadre de cette association Française a Grenoble, Les GALAPIATS => https://www.teamlesgalapiats.com/

Adults help children (Galapiats) to build and drive these cars, they have many and at the time when these photos were taken no storage place.

  23. That Koenigsegg wasn't a bad parking job… I live in center city Philadelphia and i routinely see people with high dollar cars do this… they don't want anyone to park next to their car, so they take up two spots in the lot…they do have to pay for both spots though

  24. Video is bunk…looks like a collection of grabbed images and clips. At 4:44 I know the owner of the "abandoned" race cars…photo is from 2004 when hurricane Charley blew the building down on those cars. Google "Hurricane Charley rips the roof off secret Florida Ferrari lair"

  25. I nearly cry every time I see a beautiful old classic that’s just been left or dumped. I’ve got the skill to bring most back but age and health together with a lack of money isn’t on my side anymore. I’ve tried to pass on my skills over the years but I’ve often found most I’ve tried to teach don’t have the passion or just want the latest and greatest which is pretty sad.

    1. Dave Goldspink I wish I had you to teach me!! I’m definitely interested! We should link up

    2. Dave Goldspink – I'm in the States and want you to know our prayers and well wishes are with you and your fellow countrymen.

  26. This guy just reads whatever buzzfeed list comes out and uses all their photos.

  27. Wow. Smh. I would like to share three very important quotes with you that i try to share with as many people as i can. Jesus said “if you do not repent (turn away from sin: lying, stealing, getting drunk or high, pre-marital sex, commit adultery, hate, murder, suicide, witchcraft, homosexuality, using God's name in vain, praying to statues/pictures/paintings or anyone else but God, etc) you will all likewise perish (eternal fire)."

Jesus also said "no one comes to the Father except through me (no one else).

And third quote: “those who believe and are baptized will be saved, but those who do not believe will be damned.”

God takes sin very seriously. If I steal a car just once I will go to jail, likewise God warns that if we sin just once we will go to Hell, if we lie, steal, have sex before marriage, commit adultery, get drunk or high, etc, just once. But God does not want us to go to Hell.

God became a human being in Jesus. He took the blame for us and took our punishment. He went to Hell and came back, Jesus paid our fine, then arose from the dead because He is God, he can do that. He paid for us to go to Heaven, the door is open for everyone, but to be forgiven there are three things we must do besides just asking God to forgive us.

    # 1. Trust in Jesus. #2. Turn away from everything that is a sin because Jesus is not a license to keep on sinning. If you are in sin you are following sin into Hell and not following Jesus into Heaven. You are going the opposite direction. Just saying sorry and asking God to forgive you can’t help you if you are going the wrong way. You have to change direction. #3. Get baptized. Baptism means submersed under water, not just water on your head. Also, baptism is a choice you must make. When people are babies they cannot choose to get baptized. If a person is not submersed under water by there own choice to be baptized to Jesus then it is not a baptism. You do not want to be damned to eternal fire so if you haven’t yet, please get right with God as soon as possible; trust in Jesus, turn away from sin, and get baptized. Please do it today, you may not have tomorrow and eternity is a long time to be regretful. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I care about where you will spend eternity.

There is a car builder in Britian I can't remember his name he's a black guy who used to be a teen model and his partner is red haired guy from Scotland but he has 2 39 Zephyrs a black one and a white one I believe the black is called Midnight but I'm 100% sure on that. Anyhow they are very custom and very beautiful cars.

  31. Omg that last hot rod coupe is magnificent. Anyeone know more about it ?

  32. An article in one of my Trains magazines from years ago, there were three boxcars sitting on a industrial siding for many years until the line was abandoned. The boxcars were sold for scrap until they opened them to see what was inside. Four brand new Packards never delivered. The Packards were auctioned off and restored.

  33. Correction: Schumacher's Benetton is from his 2nd Championship Winning year in 1995, not 1993

  34. For real now! Who is believing this unconfirmed stories since is no location or real pictures of these cars . For example is a big market for old F1 cars , but not right away: the cars are stored in some warehouse and after 5-10 years ( depends of how Hi-Tech are ) and after are going to big actions. Not found in my life a F1 car under 1 mil $ , just some crushed f1 cars but nothing to recover from them to be used .
F2 or F3 , formula Ford or Renault are used several years with some upgrades until not are good for nothing then some tests. In 2018 was for sell around 150 000 or more but , again, not good to run, maybe just to decorate some spaces where they are selling cars like that. In Sankt-Petersburg , Bucharest or Warsaw I saw Renault , Ford and BMW cars like that .
Dislike for this video gents. Otherwise I'm watching for more of your materials.

  35. The F1s are likely from a Canada-France miniseries "Formula 1" from the late 80s. The Benetton is from a different slide, as are the old Ferrari and Avanti Studebaker. This is a mess of a video.

    1. Jennifer Zinnick his facts aren’t off the info is legit but the pics they are using aren’t of the same car they are talking about in every situation

  36. These F1 are repros made for a 1988 tele serie in Quebec (Canada) and France, name Formule 1. With Serge Dupire as principal actor. See details on WIKIPEDIA. For the MIURA, i don't think this helicopter cyclic handle for the shifter stick is original from LAMBORGHINI.

  37. 8:37 IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, THAT EXACT CAR/PIC WAS FROM A MISSING PERSON CASE, THERE WAS A BODY IN THAT CAR & IT WAS FOUND ONLY THROUGH GOOGLE MAPS, IM PRETTY SURE THAT'S IT

  38. As a fan of Formula 1 I’ve been in the pits of some big races and big names. Andretti and Danica Patrick to name two. I am willing to bet they are “real” cars but most likely the seasons back up or secondary car. They sometimes use them to allow fans a look at them and all that kind of stuff but if something happens with the main car they swap to the backup to finish a race. The reason I think they are backup and not just a car that finished the season is they will hang a secondary spoiler and the main spoiler from a metal bracket go get it up off the ground when in transport and these cars all have the front end mounted in the race position. But I could be wrong. I just don’t know why they would put Brembo and all the major sponsors stickers on cars that they have just to look like F1 cars.

  39. The lotus and Ferrari’s are 100% but I wonder how we can find out where these cars are going to shit? The only thing they have going for them is the mass amount of fiberglass and aluminum so they won’t ever rust away

  40. Here in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia we have a small stretch in the river that has 60-70s model cars, an old flat bed canvas top truck, and there's even a tractor trailer tanker in the river that were all placed there to help the flood waters to be diverted from the farmers land. Fun fact; all the cars were donated to the farmers and placed there by the only dealership in the county, they had all been totaled and left at the dealership.

  49. 2 Dr cars have always been worth more then 4 Dr cars to collectors. Chrysler cars on top of that are not usually very desirable. That car will sit there and rot into the ground and when it is almost to far gone to restore the guy will pass away and the family will have to sell it for almost nothing. Seen it a million times.

However it is obviously Czech Rebublic. Makes huge difference, for them who understands the difference…

  56. The car that was found in the pond behind the house actually had a body in it. No one knew the car was there and the body had been missing for years. Do a little research on it.

  57. Misinformation, made up, mashed up and inaccurate ramblings, stay away from this subject you just have mislead people, your information is based on little or no actual facts, terrible!

    Thank me later…

  61. car in pond is actually a missing person and his bones where in the car after google earth found it

  62. JFYI 11:20 not Chechnya, but Czech Republic, the licence plate 1AL 0722 says the car is registered in Prague. Funny, in 11:38 you said it right 🙂

  63. for cars you can simply put them in a yard and after some time somebody will pay you more than you paid to restore them for even  more than big bucks.  Look at all the dino 246 Ferraris that are all rusted out selling for 300k as barn finds.  you could pick one up rusted out in the 80s for less then 3k.  That's great profit.

  64. In Dubai you can pick up super cars for almost nothing as the fines for speeding and the points on your license are so expensive that its better to abandon them to keep them.  Or you have run out of money and you payments are more expensive than you can afford so you walk away.

  65. Just so you know: the pic of a car in a pond at 8:35 is actually one of a tragic accident story. Someone went missing and they didn't find him for years because you couldn't see the car from the rim of the pond…

  66. i was there when the MG 72 was buried in the 1970s. The car was owned by several members of a family who couldn’t make up their minds or agree to a selling price .I found out that I was the third or fourth prospective buyer that gave a deposit over several years. A cousin of theirs negotiated the sale of the car that I was going to use in a movie. The cousin asked by phone for the registration and the keys to the car that was delivered to Stonehenge where I was excavating. They changed their mind about selling to me at the agreed price when the found out I was going to use it in a movie. The amount Became very great But I still agreed to pay the amount they asked. The cousin got angered and told me deal was off and called his relations that I changed my mind because the price went too high. The quickly reduced their offer and he responded that I wouldn’t budge that I wanted my money back, which wasn’t true, And the refused to return the refund. He hung up the phon after a few heated words with them, then pulled out his wallet an gave me back the deposit money. He said he was going to teach them a lesson and proceeded to bury that beautiful car on the spot where it stood at Stonehenge. He told them that the car was stolen shortly afterwards. He left an note in his will explaining why he did such a thing. It was because the tried to take advantage of me as the did. He admitted returning the money and covering the car in a hole and indicated the location on the map. They partially axcavated the car to confirm it was there and recovered it because all soaked in water and mud. They called me years later and asked me If I would still lime to buy it. I said “no thanks”. That’s all there is to the matter

  67. Ok so my dads friend saw a 1970 ford falcon futura for sale. He saw it when the man was putting on the for sale sticker. He turned around and bought it for $800. His son daily the car for a year than when off to war. It laid under a open outside garage for 6 months. My brother saw it and went “how much?” He got it for $800 also. My brother put in a new gas tank and heater core it has some rust all the parts tho. If you want to see it look up my Instagram- @its_cooper_smith
    It’s a cool car.

  68. The Bentley om Dubai, it got a Qarari license plate and since 2016, Qatar and UAE are enemies of each other, maybe that's why the owner can't come to take it…

  69. Thanks for the actual photos and footage of what we are all here to see. In the future, could you please shorten your vids by not including footages to artificially lengthen the play time?

  70. I love cars… The fact that the Lambo owner died and the rare car was left to rust… kind of tells us how it makes no sense to blow money on old cars and rare cars… But it's a passion… so can't argue with that…

  71. 1910 is wrong according to what I I located and I don't normally use it but wekiapedia. "The first electric car in the United States was developed in 1890-91 by William Morrison of Des Moines, Iowa; the vehicle was a six-passenger wagon capable of reaching a speed of 23 kilometres per hour (14 mph). It was not until 1895 that consumers began to devote attention to electric vehicles, after A.L."

  72. 3:00 my grandpa's friend has one there fun to ride in there's this lever in front of you you push it to move
